You will be able to resume activities approximately 6 days after surgery.

You will take easy, short walks while you are in the hospital. Patients must take daily walks from the first day of hospital discharge. You should resume an exercise regimen around three weeks after bariatric surgery. The key is to start slow and progressively increase the activity.
